At FB Church Garden Lakes, we take Acts 1:8 seriously. We believe it is our duty to take The Gospel message to our community, our state, our country and the world! We work cooperatively with other Southern Baptist Churches to accomplish this God-sized challenge. We have not arrived! And we need your help! If you want to get involved in our missions ministry—there is a place for you.

We cooperate with Estrella Baptist Association, Arizona Baptist Convention, and the national Southern Baptist Convention.

Assistance Ministries.
We no longer serve as a public food pantry site, but pass on any donations to area food banks for distribution. We are happy to provide contact information for these area banks.

We are a founding member of the Southwest Valley Homeless Initiative (now iHelp Southwest Valley) ministry team. Due to multiple campus obligations we are not an intake site for housing but can refer you to Care 1st Resource Center for intake to our 6 partner locations.

Because our mercy ministries are focused efforts with well equipped partners, we do not  provide direct financial assistance at this time.

FBChurch Garden Lakes is committed to sending out laborers for the harvest:

  • September 2011 we were privileged to commission a missionary to serve  on the campus of ASU West for the North American Mission Board (who now serves as an International Mission Board missionary)
  • July 2013, a church planting minister was sent out to serve the motorcycling community, this planter was also commissioned as a Disaster Relief Chaplain
  • November 2013, New Light Korean Baptist Church, which had grown from infancy on our campus, launched out to their own property
  • 2014 Life Elevation church plant began partnering with us to host their weekly services on our campus, which continues to date
  • Summer 2015 we sent two student missionaries on 8 week missions projects, one of which we hosted as a ministry intern
  • Licensed for Ministry, Erik and Kristen Juarez, recent graduates of Liberty University. They will be ministering to the church, and community, in a counseling capacity.
  • 2017 brought two additional church planting partners that we host on our campus through their launch process – one for weekly meeting, another meets every two weeks
  • Ongoing – iHelp Homeless ministry founding members – Jeff V is the ongoing contact
  • Ongoing – we partner with other area churches to support a local mission home for missionaries on furlough and serve as a “home base” church while they take a respite from the foreign field

We give praise as these men and women answering the call of God in their life. Please pray for God to raise up many more to serve in His kingdom.
