Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's VBS "Saddle Ridge Ranch." The children learned "Who Am I?," "Does God Care About Me?," "What Is God's Plan for Me?," "How Can I Be Like Jesus?," and "What Do I Do Now?."

There are lots of ways to volunteer for VBS 2011. Here are areas we are always looking for: art work preparation, setup, crafts, food preparation, teachers and leaders, etc... We need YOU! Contact Tami Arevalo if you would like to help out with 2011 VBS next year!

Last years vacation bible school theme was Outrigger Island VBS! Every year First Baptist Church, Garden Lakes, provides the children in our community with an opportunity to come, fellowship, and find fun and exciting ways for the children to learn about God, and worship Him.

We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped out with VBS this year on the "THE BOOMERANG EXPRESS! It all comes back to JESUS!". A heart-felt "THANK YOU" goes out to each and every one of you. We could not have done it without your help! There were 170 children registered and 7 made professions of faith in Christ.

We have an AWESOME church body that never fails to respond when the call goes out! We pray that God will bless each of you for your faithfulness.
