Clyde is a graduate of Louisiana College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as Pastor of churches in Louisiana, Georgia, and Arizona during his 50 years of ministry. His preaching style has been described as Practical Expository.

Clyde is a noted family counselor and seminar leader. He is the author of Picking Up The Pieces for single adults and Growing Together for couples, plus numerous video series. His ministry vision is to reconcile people to God and to one another and assist them to grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. He is affectionately known as “The Growth Coach.”
